The thing I enjoyed the most about working with T was how he was able to just have the same energy every single day.. I can’t remember a day where I thought he took anything for granted, he truly gave me inspiration to keep my head down and grind no matter what the circumstances.. I was a little hesitant at first, as any athlete would be coming of a surgery, but T assured me that I would be fine and I would feel and look better than how I came in.. he has done nothing short but kept his word and that’s the mark of a solid human being who truly cares to maximize YOUR potential.. also appreciated how driven T was, both about his rising his business and the athletes he trains.. as time went on he found new ways to motivate and keep things fresh and challenging.. I hope I can continue to work w T for summers to come, he’s a true pro and very transparent!

Ty Marx (Owner)
Ty, head trainer at MATRYX, was a two sport athlete in wrestling, and eventually playing football at the collegiate level. He studied Athletic Training at King’s College and continues to educate himself on the latest methods of advanced training and injury prevention/rehab. Having experienced the immense physical and mental challenge that comes with injury rehab, he enforces the importance of taking care of the mind and body on and off the field. Ty has almost 11 years of experience and over 20,000 hours of working with hundreds of athletes including Olympic Level and National Champion Athletes.
Ryan Fatzinger
CSCS Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach
Ryan is an Emmaus native, who went to Emmaus High School and excelled in baseball and basketball. He continued his baseball career at Temple University as well as playing for their Rugby team. Ryan graduated from Temple with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. After a few years of gaining experience with an internship, he started and ran his own sports performance training company in Philadelphia. Since then, he has moved back home and took a position with a regional health network which allowed him to train high school teams and individuals in the Lehigh Valley. Today, with almost 7 years experience Ryan has joined forces with MATRYX and is the Head Performance Specialist at the Emmaus location.
Markes Cruz
Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Shippensburg University.
While at Shippensburg, Markes was a 3 year starter on the offensive line. Since completing his football career Markes has been using a velocity based training approach where he can deliver live data to his athletes. Since using the velocity based training on himself, he has become more explosive and powerful than when he was playing football. He enjoys being around a motivated and excited environment of athletes that strive to get better everyday.

Ty is the founder and head trainer at MATRYX. With nearly eleven (11) years of experience, Ty has devoted more than 20,000 hours in his personal career to developing the athletic skills in over a thousand of athletes including Olympic Level, NFL Pro Bowlers, and National Champion Athletes. Having been a two-sport athlete in wrestling and football at the collegiate level, he has the unique perspective of an athlete in training and great appreciation for the stakes associated with their success.
