Erin Sparrold

Erin comes to Matryx with over 20 years of experience working in the health and wellness field. She has a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Arizona and a specialization in Metabolic Efficiency Training. In addition to helping people live their healthiest lives through improving nutrition habits Erin also works closely with athletes helping them reach their peak performance. She is the sport nutrition coach for Lehigh Wrestling, Lafayette’s men’s soccer and women’s basketball, and The Hill School.

Erin mentored under the 2008 Olympic Team Sport Dietician Bob Seebohar and continues her studies specializing in sport nutrition through a cohort study at Middlesex University London Sport Institute and the International Society of Sport Nutrition. She also actively participates with her alma matter’s continuing education program through the Center for Integrative Medicine. Erin’s continuing education studies include nutrition interventions for depression and anxiety. As well as nutrition support to aid in the prevention of cancer and heart disease. Erin strives to understand her client’s personal needs and to empower them with the tools to live a healthier life, reach their goals, and compete at their best.

Erin grew up a competitive swimmer and continues her passion for athletics participating in road relay races and obstacle course races. She is currently training to compete in her first Olympic and half Iron Man distance triathlons. Erin personally puts into action every day the principles that she teaches her clients.
